Autodesk Software is used at CSM, in Engineering and other disciplines, to design and present projects with clarity and efficiency. Autodesk provides many resources on their website and are particularly generous with their Student and Education community. Offers include free downloads (with 13-month use licenses) of student version software, self-paced tutorials and access to AutoCAD experts. Anybody with an @mines.edu email address can sign up to be a part of the Student Engineering & Design Community at Autodesk.

Students can download Autodesk software, for free, from the Autodesk Student Engineering & Design Community.
On Campus Availability: This product is installed in the centrally managed Windows Labs in the ADIT domain, located in CTLM and the Library, as well as other places on campus. Additional installations may be made only in accordance with the legal scope of the license described below.

Note: Separate licensing for other uses, including student home use, must be purchased/obtained by the user directly. Members of the CSM community can have a free 13-month student license directly from Autodesk; please follow the Student & Design Community links above for further information.
Cost to Qualified CSM End-users: CCIT does not currently charge for use of this license in supported labs and classrooms.
