What Is Available To You?
The Library has more than books.
Using a Laptop in the Library?
- Need an electrical outlet? Check the walls; the Reference Room has floor outlets.
- Electrical outlet too far away? Check out an extension cord at the Front Desk.
- Need to print? Get directions.
- Need a free charge and a temporary storage area? Use the laptop lockers located by the Front Desk.
Need a 5 minute study break?
- Get a coffee, hot chocolate, etc. from Book & Brew.
- Put a few pieces of the jigsaw puzzle together. Located by the campus computer lab.
- Try solving the latest library contest. Note: contests are held 1 to 2 times per semester. See the bulletin board outside of reference for more details.
Working on calculus, fluids, or anything else that requires a white board?
- Check out markers from the Front Desk.
- Look for white boards, on the walls and free standing, on floors 1M, 2, and 2M.
Studying
The Library offers quiet and social spaces, single study as well as group work spaces. Need:
- A single study table in a quiet part of the library? Floor 3 may be for you.
- Don't mind noise and people? Try the tables on Floor 2 or 2M.
- Great view and comfy chairs? The Reading Room with a View (Floor 2) is just for you.
- Study rooms? Floors 1M, 2, 2M and 3 (available by walk-in or reservation).
- Groups can also work at the BrainStorming tables and whiteboards in the Reference Room (Floor 2).
