Library Book Sale

The Arthur Lakes Library is continuously evolving the services we provide to the campus community. We are constantly evaluating current practices in order to refine and redirect our efforts to better serve our users.

For over 30 years the library has hosted our annual book sale during the week of Presidents’ Day. It has been a library tradition, but it is time to reconsider this tradition.

We have decided to discontinue the annual sale beginning with 2017. Times change and priorities change along with the times. We have determined that the many hours of staff time throughout the year devoted to the book sale can be better directed to other emerging areas in order to more effectively serve our CSM academic community. Our goal has always been to provide the best service possible to our community and we are excited to move forward and discover and implement new and innovative ways to do so.

We want to thank all of you who have supported the library by participating in the past book sales. Please know that your support has been greatly appreciated. We hope that you continue to support the library as we move towards the future.

We will still be accepting donations, but on a much more targeted basis. Please see: Book Donations for more information.
