Policies and Terms of Use

The Mines lnstitutional Repository provides long-term preservation and access services for the intellectual and creative output of the Colorado School of Mines' academic, research, and administrative communities. This includes archival maintenance of official organizational records and publications of the School. 

The repository aims to capture emerging unpublished scholarship and creative works of Mines authors/creators and to preserve and disseminate previously published works in a manner consistent with copyright law.

Author/creator submissions to the institutionlal repository may include works including but not limited to conference papers and presentations, working papers, white papers, technical reports, awarded student research, musical compositions, art, performances, books, and journal articles.

In addition to the works of individual Mines authors/creators, the repository hosts select archival materials, generated by Mines entities such as colleges and departments, that document the history and intellectual life of Mines. The repository also contains digital collections created from the Library’s archival holdings to support teaching and research.
