Student Health Center

The Student Health Center is located at 17th and Elm, across from the IM field. It is staffed by a nurse practitioner and registered nurses throughout the day. Physician coverage is provided by a group of family practice physicians who are on site from 3:00pm-4:45pm Mon.-Fri. and are on call at all times.

*****************************************************************************************************

The HealthCenter has received a limited number of H1N1 vaccines.  In accordance with the CDC and The Colorado Department of Public Health we will administer the vaccine to individuals that fall within the following priority groups:

            Pregnant women

Household contacts/caretakers of children under 6 months

Children age 5-24 years of age with chronic illness (although we can only see CSM students and spouses who have paid the $49.70 Health Services   Fee)

*****************************************************************************************************

If you are in one of these categories please stop by the Health Center between 8-11 or 1-3 to receive the vaccine.  If you are feeling ill with a fever you should not receive the vaccine until the fever has resolved.

We have ordered enough vaccine for any student wanting this immunization so if you do not meet the above criteria do not worry as we will have more vaccine in the weeks to come.  Continue to watch your email for updates.
