Christine Baker

Special Formats Metadata Librarian

Christine has been at Mines since 2004. She began at the Library’s Front Desk and then moved into the Library’s Government Publications section where she developed a keen interest in cataloging and metadata. Soon afterward, and ever since, Christine has taken on the role of Special Formats Metadata Librarian where she works to ensure access to and discovery of the Library’s special formats, both in the online catalog and in Mines Institutional Repository. She works primarily with Mines theses and dissertations, digitized and print special collections, and a variety of other formats.
