Nicole Becwar

As the Metadata Initiatives Librarian, Nicole supports access of the library’s collections for the campus community through the creation and enhancement of metadata. Prior to joining Mines, Nicole was the Technical Services Librarian & Archivist at Western Colorado University. She is a member of the Library Freedom Project. As a metadata librarian, Nicole is passionate about patron privacy and inclusive metadata practices that meet the discovery and research needs of students, faculty, and staff. In her free time, Nicole likes to explore the backcountry in Colorado.
