Gyasi EvansGyasi Evans, MLIS is originally from Denver, Colorado but has lived in Germany and up and down the East coast. He completed his Masters of Library and Information Science degree from Emporia State University in 2016, and a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism & Digital Photography in 2010 from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Gyasi’s current position is the Outreach & Engagement Librarian at the Arthur Lakes Library since July 2017. As the Outreach & Engagement Librarian he works across-campus to connect with the Mines & Golden community members with library services and information resources. Gyasi also co-manages all the communication efforts in the library. Digital, social media, and physical advertising. Gyasi is available for reference/research consultations as well has tours of the library.
Gyasi has an interest in international librarianship and is looking to research how libraries function across the world.
Gyasi spends most of his free-time away from work exploring all that Colorado has to offer, hiking, snowboarding, downhill biking, etc. Gyasi also loves to travel and explore.
